Music Network
Music Network required a brand refresh to better represent their vision and future direction. They required an identity that merged tradition and modernity, reflective of the musicians and artists they work with on an ongoing basis. Retaining the existing monogram typeface we modernised it through the creation of diagonal slits, a stencil look. Coupled with a modern typeface the new mark strikes an effective balance between traditional and contemporary values. The diagonals used in the mark were echoed through their materials, from corporate publications to event materials.
For the wider brand we looked at a number of options The eventual solution used the diagonal stencil slits throughout the material. Linking directly with the mark while also creating a unique and signature voice. In the initial briefing MN indicated they would like the brand to be more progressive than the mark. The use of the diagonal strikes brings a contemporary feel to the overall brand.
